Our overall vision for school improvement for 2012 – 2015

 

  • To tackle poverty and disadvantage within school: working with the community and other services.
  • To improve pupil wellbeing and foster positive, supportive attitudes to learning.
  • To raise standards in Literacy and Numeracy.
  • To continually monitor and evaluate the implementation of the Foundation Phase and the progressive development of key skills across all ages.
  • To develop data tracking systems
  • To develop the role of the Governing Body.
  • To further develop the role of the School Council and Pupil Voice.
  • To increase Parental Engagement within school
  • To ensure the school has effective procedures for meeting the needs of FSM / ALN / MAT pupils

School procedures and practices assessed against NACE standards for MAT

Interventions will be in place for Maths and Language, PSWC from R-Yr6 to ensure all groups of pupils achieve and make  progress expected at their stage of learning.
