You may have started to hear whispers about an exciting new community project in Deeside.
Deeside Community Trust has been set up to help provide community education, vocational training and sport in a new purpose-built Community Hub on Queensferry Campus. It is an exciting time which will be further brought to life when the building is delivered on Saturday 27th March.
The trust is made up of a small number of volunteers from the local community. Together we are working with Welsh government, national sporting bodies and the local authority to deliver a space that can provide support to the local community.
The space will provide the following facilities:
Community and Education
· Main Activity Room
· Training Rooms
· Meeting Rooms
· Break Out Area
· Plans for Vocational Workshop
Sports and Exercise
· Changing Rooms
· Medical Room
· 2 x Full Size Grass Rugby Pitches
· 60m x 40m 4G Pitch (Floodlit)
· Plans for 4G Full Size Pitch (Floodlit)
There are also plans for a café and a bar.
