Holiday request forms are available in the school office

  • All applications for holidays in term-time will be considered on an individual basis as parents do not have an automatic right to withdraw their child from school for holidays.
  • If your child has a score of 8 or more points the holiday request will not be granted and your child will receive an unauthorised absence from school. If your child’s scores less than 8, the holiday will be granted. However, I ask you to consider the effects absences have on a child’s education and the amount of important work children miss while they are away from school.
  • Where the holiday already taken in the current academic year exceeds the DfES guideline “ie. Maximum of 10 days in any academic year” any further requests will NOT be authorised
  • IF YOU CHOOSE TO TAKE YOUR CHILD ON THIS HOLIDAY PLEASE ENSURE YOU MONITOR SCHOOP AND THE SCHOOL WEBSITE SO THAT YOU DO NOT MISS IMPORTANT MESSAGES
